Tour Plan

Day 1:

Our Toubkal mountain trip begins from picking you up at a location previously set just after the confirmation of your booking, and we will be heading to Imlil is a Berber village, about 65 km south from Marrakech, It lies 1740 meters above the sea level in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, making the first stop in this 2 days trip. Once we reach Imlil, a professional guide will be waiting for us to take you in your first tour, discovering the Berber villages around and exploring the mountain shrine of Sidi Chamharouch. At this level we already are 8000 feet above sea level, not so much to the mountain hut. Lunch break, a picnic made for you by our cook followed by a short break to rest before we can continue our journey up thought the mountain to reach 10,500 feet above sea level. Once there we officially are at our next stop which is an ice cozy refuge where you can enjoy a hot Moroccan Mint tea, take a good shower and have some rest to be fully prepared for our next day. During the summer time it is possible to use tents and camp outside during the night.

Day 2:

The breakfast is served at 5 a.m as an early start is necessary, Trekkers be ready to start our mountain climb at 5.30 a.m. We should be arriving to the hut after 4 hours of uphill walking mostly with a short break once halfway up. You will be able to enjoy the views, splendid sights as we go higher, definitely a memorable experience. Once we reach the summit, we can rest for about 45 minutes enjoying the highest peak in the Atlas Mountains range a great opportunity to take photographs and take time to mediate. Then we shall take the same itinerary back down, with a lunch break on the way and then continue the road hiking to Imlil. From here we will be driving back to Marrakech.
